森で取れる素材の採集、薬の調合が彼女の仕事だ。
彼女は自身の現状に不満を持っていた、貧相な生活、刺激もない生活、性の刺激も…10代の少女にはこの生活は堪える。
「定年退職後の楽しみみたいな生活はもうやだ!」とは言っても強いられてるわけではなく自分で選んだ結果ではある。
とりあえず仕事を始めたエマは、森でとある調合書を拾うのであった。
